Making Friends

Kate seems to have no difficulty making friends. Wherever we are and there are other little girls, she always runs up to them and asks if they want to play. Three year olds seem to be so welcoming to each other, so the answer is usually a resounding "YES!"

Everyone has had to deal with them. Children who just will not listen, and their behavior is horrible. Maybe it is even violent. How do you tell their parents that you are having problems with their children? Here is one way.

Eating Battles

I have to admit that my daughter is not the best eater on the planet. While she does try a variety of foods, she eats such a small amount of food at a time, that it is extremely frustrating to me. Here is an example of a typical meal time in our house:

Kate comes running up to me and says, "Mommy, I'm hungry."

I reply, "Well what do you want to eat? We have _________, _____________, and ___________." (I always give a few choices and let her choose.)...

Going to Kindergarten

Whose ready for school? I am excited to meet all of my new students and to experience great things with them, however I know not everyone feels like me.
